From Harvard Sq subway station 13 min walk
Exit the station by the "Harvard Yard/Church Street" stairs. Follow signs for Harvard Yard, enter the Yard through the nearest gates from those stairs, and bear left across it, exit by the north (Thayer) gate. In front of Science Center, make a sharp right. When you leave the campus, you will be on Cambridge Street (by Gund Hall) Irving Street is 3rd left off Cambridge Street, #24 is first house on right. If you are going to stay at Turner House, you must check in at 24 Irving and then continue up the street to 40 Irving Street.

From Logan Airport 45 min trip
Buy A Charlie Ticket in the terminal: look for the âTâ kiosk. The S1 Silver Line leaves from the far right end of each terminal. Take the S1 to South Station. Take the Red Line from South Station INBOUND (towards ALEWIFE), exit at Harvard.

From South Station 30 min trip
South Station is a commuter, Amtrak & bus terminal.
Take the Red Line from South Station INBOUND (towards ALEWIFE), exit at Harvard.
Taking the FUNG WAH / BOLT / MEGABUS / LUCKY STAR bus from NYC? It will leave you in South Station.

Back Bay Station 30 min trip
Back Bay Station is a terminal for some New England buses.
Take Orange Line INBOUND to Downtown Crossing; then Red Line INBOUND (towards ALEWIFE), exit at Harvard. (Amtrak and some commuter trains stop at Back Bay, but they continue to South Station which is MUCH better for getting to Cambridge)
