Harvard Square is warming up for plenty of partying this year. Starting May 27, Patios In Bloom and continuing throughout the summer with The Dance For World Community (June 11), the fourth annual Fete de la Musique (June 18), into the heat of July with Bastille Day (July 10), and throughout July and August, Think Pink, Drink Pink, Shop Pink to benefit various breast cancer organizations.
And June 14, Fire and Ice is having a fund raiser for a special patron, Read here for more information.

The Ninth Annual Independent Film Festival is happening in and around Our Fair City this weekend, through May 4. Once in a while, a film maker will stay at Irving House. We love this! Here is more information.
In particular, we hope you get to see God Willing on Sunday evening at the Somerville Theatre in Davis Square.

February 5th – “Some Like it Hot Chili Cook-off” from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. (the day before the Super bowl.) Enjoy samples of chili from some of Harvard Square's HOTTEST Restaurants while enjoying musical entertainment! Vote for the People's Choice Award for Best CHILI in Harvard Square. This event is free, open to the public and will take place on Deguglielmo Plaza. (in front of Crema Café)
