Harvard Square events, walking tours, images
Cambridge and Boston spread out on either side of the Charles River, which snakes its way to the harbor through many lovely New England towns. Cambridge is roughly bowtie shaped, with Harvard Yard as its ‘knot.’ Both cities have complicated streets an odd squares that are not square at all. All walking distance from Irving House, Harvard Square, Central Square, Inman, Kendall and Porter Squares each have their own personality, offering an exciting range of dining, shopping and cultural surprises. It is best to walk and use the T. There are plenty of wonderful things to find by taking your time and being curious.
