- Recycling & composting (We helped organize the first composting route in Cambridge!)
- Regularly monitoring and reporting our energy, water and waste use to the EPA

- Participating in renewable energy sourcing through Mass Energy
- Energy efficient appliances
- Reusable supplies (water bottles, straws, travel mugs, beanies and headbands, etc.)
- Solar thermal panels to heat guests’ hot water
- Reuse of materials wherever possible
- Partnership with Best Bees supporting their research on colony collapse disorder
- Two electric car charging stations located at our extended stay house up the street from the main house
- Encouraging walking around Our Fair City through Urban Parks
